An original, quality, late 19th century, cast iron coffee grinder with a copper hopper and brass label, a pull out drawer to the base at the front and a turned hardwood knob to the cranked cast iron handle. The brass label details 'T&C Clark & Co' for the manufacturer and 'Awarded A Silver Medal in Paris in 1878'. The side lugs enable the grinder to be fixed to a shelf or a table. The grind can be adjusted with a screwdriver from the underside when the drawer is removed. The grinder is complete and in good and working order. Base 6" x 6", 8.5" high including handle and 8.5" wide including handle.
